The combined matchmaking is aimed at researchers, from the entire knowledge chain and various disciplines, private and public partners and other interested parties. The main focus of the first meeting on 24 November will be on connecting researchers and parties from the sector to start forming new consortiums.

Second matchmaking

On 8 December, 2021, NWO will host the second matchmaking meeting focusing on connecting the proposals with collaboration partners and co-funders.

Registered initiatives

Attention: For the NWA-call Emission-free Inland Shipping an initiative submitted before 26 October is required. Two initiatives have registered:

  • DigiPACT: Digital Port And City Twins (contact person: R.R. Negenborn, TU Delft)
  • PAving THe way for Zero Emission and RObust inland shipping (PATH4ZERO) (contact person: Jeroen Pruyn, Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences).

View the registered initiatives on the NWO website.

Presenting their initiatives

These starting consortia will present their initiative during the matchmaking. In order to form a consortium that approaches the issue of cleaner inland shipping from various angles, the initiatives are open to further development towards a joint, full-scale funding application.

For the KIC-call Zero-Emission Circular Shipping there is not an initiative phase. Main applicants are asked to give a short pitch of their idea during the first matchmaking on 24 November. They do not have to fill in an extra form.
